Briefing of the Course
The ANDI Certified Divemaster program meets the requirements of the EUF standard for a Level-III diver (ref: EUF). This course prepares the candidate to oversee certified divers to the level which the Divemaster is rated and conduct U/W tours for the same. Experience in all aspect of diver supervision and logistics (such as cylinder re-fill & emergency procedures etc.) are covered.
A Divemaster course is the first professional level of training in scuba diving. It is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and supervise dives, assist instructors, and manage dive operations.
During the course, you will learn about dive theory, including physics, physiology, and dive planning. You will also learn about dive equipment, underwater navigation, and how to assist and supervise divers. Additionally, you will learn about risk management and how to manage dive operations.
The course includes both classroom and practical training, with a significant amount of time spent in the water. You will work closely with a certified instructor, who will mentor and guide you throughout the course. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as a Divemaster, allowing you to work as a professional in the dive industry. This can include working at a dive shop or center, leading dive trips, and assisting instructors with training courses.
