Briefing of the Course

The ANDI Certified Divemaster program meets the requirements of the EUF standard for a Level-III diver (ref: EUF). This course prepares the candidate to oversee certified divers to the level which the Divemaster is rated and conduct U/W tours for the same. Experience in all aspect of diver supervision and logistics (such as cylinder re-fill & emergency procedures etc.) are covered.

A Divemaster course is the first professional level of training in scuba diving. It is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and supervise dives, assist instructors, and manage dive operations.

During the course, you will learn about dive theory, including physics, physiology, and dive planning. You will also learn about dive equipment, underwater navigation, and how to assist and supervise divers. Additionally, you will learn about risk management and how to manage dive operations.

The course includes both classroom and practical training, with a significant amount of time spent in the water. You will work closely with a certified instructor, who will mentor and guide you throughout the course. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as a Divemaster, allowing you to work as a professional in the dive industry. This can include working at a dive shop or center, leading dive trips, and assisting instructors with training courses. Overall, the Divemaster course is an exciting and rewarding way to take your diving to the next level and become a professional in the dive industry.

Course Info

Course prerequisites: Your instructor, during in-water activities will require from you, to be able to swim 200 meters with no aids or 300 meters with surface equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) and float at the surface of the water for 10 minutes without using any floating aid.

Minimum age of the course is 18 years. This course is the entry level of your professional career in diving. You must already be certified as a Rescue Diver and have an active Medic certification

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications recent surgery requires from you to get a written approval from a physician before diving.

Upon finishing your eLearning course you have to choose an official ANDI Training Facility, in order to finish your in-water activities of your course. We suggest you to contact with your preferable diving center, in order to schedule your in water time for confined and open water training!

For any other available language, we suggest you to contact with your your local ANDI Training Facility!

eLearning course is a self-study method that covers the required knowledge development. This course requires also in-water training for the certification. There will be an additional cost to complete your certification with an ANDI instructor, throughout an official ANDI training facility. The total cost depends on the location, the size of the class and whether or not you need to rent scuba equipment.

Note: eLearning covers self-study material. Your ANDI training facility will charge training fees for proper preparation and required in-water activities.
